2023-2024 Theme and Patron

This year's theme is BUILD

We honor the Blessed Virgin under her title of Our Lady of the Snows, since it was on the occasion of a miraculous snowfall in Rome (in August!) that Mary asked the pope to BUILD a church in her honor.

This year, continuing our series of North American Martyrs, our patron is Saint John de Lalande.

Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini is honored as our historical figure, thanks to her tireless work to BUILD up the Church both spiritually and materially in the United States.

Our quote this year, taken from Saint Paul's Epistle to the Thessalonians, continues this theme of building: 
“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” – 1 Thess. 5:11
